PDAC March 2-5 2008, Toronto, Canada

PDAC 2008 Conference and Tradeshow in Toronto, Canada provides the opportunity for 2iC to showcase the new Ezy-NavTM directional drilling software.

This year 2iC Australia's attendance and exhibitor's stand at the PDAC conference and tradeshow (Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada) provided the opportunity to showcase our new Ezy-Nav™ directional drilling software. Again we shared a double booth stand with our Québécois agent Jexplore Inc. Next year we will be looking to expand our booth in conjunction with Jexplore due to the popularity of both 2iC's and Jexplore's demonstrations and new products.

The trade show and conference attracted a record number of delegates and attendees. There was in excess of 20,000 delegates and with trade show representatives there would have been in excess of 23,000 mining and exploration people present.

 

The continuing success of live
demonstrations of of our products attracted many trade show attendees to our stand. In particular Ciaran Scarry from our European office generated a lot of interest in our Ezy-Nav™ directional drilling software. Ciaran designed the mathematical algorithms that run the program and David Burgess from our Perth office designed the graphical interface.

 

 

 

 

 

 

		Demonstrations of the Ori-Block™ enhancement of the Ezy-Mark™ Core Orientation system again proved a hit with PDAC attendees. Our Canadian staff, Kerry Smyth, Luke Bryndza and Jacques Guerin, were ably supported by our Global Branch Manager Chris Holliday who was attending PDAC for the first time. Chris stayed on in Canada for a few weeks to assist Kerry and Luke follow up on leads generated at PDAC.
